You may not want to hear this at a time when stuff happens in your life, but believe me, letting go and moving on will empower you. I know, it may not feel like that at the moment. You may be in pain and focusing on what happened in the past. Maybe something bad or painful happened yesterday, last week, or even last year, and you keep on thinking about it.

This morning I was thinking how there are always new things we want, or believe we need to be happy. Thеrе аrе сеrtаіn thіngѕ thаt I would really love, thіngѕ lіkе an amazing аnd beautiful hоuѕе in the mountains or closes to the beach, or preferably at the beach with mountains behind. I wоuld аlѕо like to buy a nісе care fоr mуѕеlf. I wоuld lіkе to travel more. I would also lіkе to save up a lоt оf mоnеу, just to have some financial security. Question is, am I really going to be so happy and content if I have this all? Well there is no denying that I certainly would be happy to get all of this...at least in the beginning...when it is all still new. But what when the novelty wears off?

Today I cry me a river. I am physically and emotionally not feeling good. And I have decided to let it all out. I have my box with tissues near and I am allowing myself to cry as much as I need to feel good again. What is happening is that I feel exhausted, stiff, and fat, and I don't seem to be able to change any of that at this stage. I feel crap, but I also know that it's just a moment in time that will pass. Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I've decided to do some research on crying and share with you why we cry, why crying is good for you and when crying is a sign of something more serious. I'll also share with you how I pick myself up again after a good cry.

Some two months ago I was talking to my husband about Christmas. As many people do, we give each other presents for Christmas. I truly had no idea what to give my him this year. I told him I was struggling with it, because I didn't want to give him anything that he wouldn't like or needed. The thing is that we have a pretty good life now, and there isn't really anything that we need, there isn't anything that we lack.

Not so long ago I went to China on a holiday. It was a tour, and one of the many things we visited was the Great Wall. I was so excited! I had always wanted to go and see it. I think the Wall is part of "the 7 wonders", and it's absolutely huge. The length of the Wall that we see today is about 6000 km long. It was built to protect the Chinese Empire from the Mongolians and other invaders. That made me think. So many walls have been built to keep people out...

About a week or two ago I read a Facebook post that I was asked to share. It was about nurses. It talked about how nurses can make your life so much better when you're sick, about how them holding your hand when you are scared can make a huge difference, and how giving you medicine can make the difference about life and death.

Yesterday I was helping one of my daughter painting some poles. She has a young 6 month old son who didn't want to go to sleep. Those poles needed to be painted as they would be part of a pergola that was going to be build over the weekend. So, my daughter really needed her son to sleep.

Sometimes it all of the sudden hits me; the wonder of life! We don't understand any of it, but it is happening in and around us, every time, all the time and everywhere. And we don't have a clue how it all works, or why it works. Yet it is here.

This weekend my husband and I were watching the sunset at our rural property. It was absolutely beautiful as well as very peaceful. Then my gaze shifted to the neighbor's property. Earlier that day there had been many cows grazing around the trees, but now they were all gone. Then in a distance I saw a little calf in the grass all by herself.

When you have too many choices it is often really hard to pick the right one. The right one for you that is. If you are anything like me then you are always full of ideas, and life is full of exciting options. But no matter how exciting it all is, it is also very tiring, because how are you going to make a choice? It is so hard to pick one or two, because they all seem so good. It is almost like being on a highway with many bridges and crossings, and not being sure what road to travel.
